PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil-raising unit capable of automatically forming a correct amount of raised soil at each of seedlings at intermittent positions. SOLUTION: This soil-raising unit is provided by installing a soil-raising mechanism 3 for raising a prescribed amount of soil at intermittent positions corresponding to the planted seedlings N on the ridge U, and a soil-feeding mechanism 4 for supplying the soil to the soil-raising mechanism 3, at a traveling machine body 2 traveling by striding over the ridge U.
