PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus of a crop harvester capable of smoothly performing operations when the interior of a housing box is filled with harvested and sorted crop bodies and the housing box is exchanged or operations are restarted after the exchange. SOLUTION: This transfer apparatus of the crop harvester is designed to cut a prescribed position of a leaf part with leaf cutting devices 12 and 12 during taking over, nipping and transferring of each crop body (a) after arranging the neck with a tapping transfer apparatus, receive the crop body (a) after cutting the leaf part with a lower transfer conveyor 13, install an upper transfer conveyor 14 on the upper side of the lower transfer conveyor 13, hold the crop body (a) between the upper and lower conveyors 14 and 13 and transfer the crop body (a) to the upper part in the transverse direction. Furthermore, a freely vertically movable carrying platform device for carrying a freely stretchable housing bag for receiving and housing the crop body (a) is composed so as to detect the amount of the housed crop body (a) housed in the housing bag with a housing amount sensor and contract and control the housing bag according to the vertical moving control of the carrying platform device with a controller.
