PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter capable of dealing with abrupt change in load, without using a of large capacity capacitor. SOLUTION: A DC voltage, connected to the primary winding of a transformer T, is switched to generate an AC voltage on the secondary winding side of the transformer, and then the AC voltage is smoothed and passed through a stabilization circuit, to obtain a stabilized DC voltage. In such a DC/DC converter, the transformer T is provided with a tertiary winding and a circuit 10 for supplying a current to a load from an AC voltage generated in the tertiary winding is provided.
