<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup, capable of keeping sufficient heat radiation effect even in a slim type optical disk device, and an optical disk device using this optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a light-emitting element constituted with monoblock structure emitting multiple light beams, a light-receiving element, wiring members and a cover for the wiring members on one face of a plate.
