PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain guide and a base member, capable of being manufactured with high accuracy without needing high processing costs, reducing manufacturing costs by reducing materials to be used and reducing waste use of the material in punching, and having a high degree of freedom in designing a fitting portion formation position.SOLUTION: A chain guide 100 includes: a guide shoe 110; a base member 120; and at least one fitting portion 122 to be fitted to a fitting object. The base member 120 is made of a plate material composed of a metallic material, and has at least one split piece portion 125 divided in a width direction by a slit 124, and the fitting portion 122 is formed of the split piece portion 125. |
