Disclosed are a method for uplink multi-user transmission in a wireless communication system and a device for same. More particularly, a method for performing uplink multi-user (UL MU) transmission by a station (STA) device in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving pilot allocation information from an access point (AP); mapping a pilot to a pilot tone on the basis of the pilot allocation information; and transmitting to the AP a UL MU physical protocol data unit (PPDU) to which the pilot has been mapped, wherein one or more of a pilot tone, a pilot symbol and a pilot sequence can be particularly decided for each STA or STA group by means of the pilot allocation information.
