PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can body that achieves improvement in outflow of granular matter in liquid without causing an increase in facility cost.SOLUTION: A can body 1 includes: a cover 11 that has a disk-like panel part 21 having an opening 27 formed at a part thereof, and a groove part 22 formed on the outer periphery of the panel part 21, and projecting from the panel part 21 to one side; and a body 13 that includes a cylindrical body part 41, a reduced diameter part 47 formed at one end of the body part 41 and formed to have a smaller diameter than the body part 41, and a continuing part 46 making the body part 41 continue to the reduced diameter part 47, whose one end is shut by fixing the cover 11 at the reduced diameter part 47, and where the panel part 21 is located on the extension of a tangent T of the continuing part 46. |
