The pump part (2) of the set is placed in contact with an undergournd water source, and has a raising piston (33) moving forwards and backwards in a cylinder (32) to introduce water from the source into a cylinder chamber part (35), from which a feed conduit (45) delivers water to ground level. - The operating part (1) has a piston (11) in a cylinder (9) operated by a lever (14). The pump part has a slave piston (29) moving backwards and forwards in a cylinder (28). The operating and slave cylinders are joined hydraulically, and are continuously filled with water. In this way, the slave piston is driven hydraulically by the operating piston, and since it is mechanically connected to the raising piston by a common connecting rod (49), it transmits the operating piston backwards and forwards movement to the raising piston (33). |
