PURPOSE:To prompt bleaching effect of a color-developed silver halide color photographic sensitive material and to shorten a processing time by executing color development of the material having a silver halide emulsion layer comprising monodisperse silver halide particles having no chemically sensitized twin face on a base in the presence of a sensitizing dye, then treating with a specified treating soln. as a bleaching agent. CONSTITUTION:An emulsion comprising monodisperse particles having high quantum efficiency but having no internal defect, i.e., twin face, in the inside of the particles, is contained in a silver halide color photographic sensitive material. Further, the emulsion is chemically sensitized in the presence of a spectral sensitizing dye. Moreover, at least one kind of ferric complex salt of compds. selected from (A-1) ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid, (A-2) diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid, (A-3) cyclohexanediamine tetraacetic acid, and (A-4) 1,2-propylenediamine tetraacetic acid, is incorporated into a treating soln. having bleaching effect as a bleaching agent together with ferric complex salt of 1,3-diaminopropane tetraacetic acid in <=3:1 proportion by mole of the former to the latter, when the material is treated after color development with a treating soln. having bleaching effect. Thus, sufficient bleaching is attained in a short time. |
