PURPOSE:To minimize the deterioration of a picture even when a moving part detecting circuit makes an erroneous decision by equipping the title processing circuit with a one frame cyclic type filter to control a cyclic ratio by a moving part signal and a minimum value selecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The processing circuit is provided with a high-pass filter(HPF) 3 to take out a high frequency signal from a video signal for which moving adaptive processing is executed by the moving part detecting circuit, a low-pass filter(LPF) 2 to take out a low frequency signal from the above-mentioned video signal, one frame cyclic type filters 4 and 6 to make the output signal of the HPF 3 into its input and control the cyclic ratio by the moving part signal, a minimum value selecting circuit 7 to select one out of the output signal of the HPF 3, the output signal of the one frame cyclic type filters, and the average of these two signals, which has the minimum absolute value, and an adder circuit 8 to add the low frequency signal and the high frequency signal to pass through minimum value selecting circuit 7. Thus, the deterioration of the picture can be minimized, and the high definition picture can be reproduced when the moving part detecting circuit makes the erroneous decision. |
