MANUFACTURE OF AIR BAG BLADDER

摘要

PURPOSE:To enhance productivity by manufacturing an air bag bladder section and an auxiliary bladder section by a common process in the manufacture of the air bag bladder provided with the auxiliary bladder section which is expected to be in a desired bag shape at an early part of expansion. CONSTITUTION:Lower side base material 12 and upper side base material 14 consisting of an air bag bladder 10 are piled up with each other with their surfaces mutually faced to, and a sewing section 20 provided with firm combining force is formed around their peripheries. Sewing sections 22 and 24 are formed in the inside of the sewing section 20 where they are of strength to an extent that their combination is released by tension force produced at a final part of air bag expansion. After the sewing sections 20, 22 and 24 have been formed, the air bag bladder 10 is turned over by using a gas inflow port so as to be formed into a normal use shape.
