PURPOSE:To provide a document managing device capable of automatically starting a tool within the range of access right in both of preparing/editing operation and displaying operation. CONSTITUTION:When an operator specifies a document and selects editing or displaying operation, a document managing means 4 confirms the existence of access right for executing the operation of the document, and when the access right exists, starts a document preparing/editing means 3 or a document displaying means 2 corresponding to the document based upon document control information to execute the selected operation. When the access right does not exist, the effect is displayed on a working screen to inform the operator of it. Thereby the operator can execute operation corresponding to the access right of the document. |
