PURPOSE:To integrally form a protector along a lower portion of an outside piece which varies in the height without damaging design property by bending- deforming a protector piece, which is integrally extrusion-moulded on an interior wall surface of the outside piece of a core metal, to fit to the lower portion of the outside piece so as to form a protector. CONSTITUTION:A moulding 3 is provided with a core metal 31 and a protector 321 arranged along the longitudinal direction thereof, and the core metal 31 consists of a fitting portion 311, an outside piece 313 and a ceiling portion 312 connecting both the portion 311 and the piece 313 to each other. The outside piece 313 varies in its height along the longitudinal direction of the core metal 31, and the protector 321 is formed in such a way that a protector piece 320 extrusion-moulded integrally on an inner wall surface of the outside piece 313 of the core metal 31 is bending-deformed and fitted to a lower portion of the outside piece 313. This protector 321 abuts elastically against a door to exhibit a sealing function and prevents the core metal 31 from directly contacting with the door. In the moulding 3, burrs are not produced and a shining design face is formed on a surface of the core metal 31, particularly on a surface of the outside piece 313. |
