PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shopping information providing system which enables a user to obtain details on sales of a desired article to be purchased by generating shopping information according to information gathered at a retailer store and provides it for the user. SOLUTION: This shopping information providing system 1 includes a sales information totaling device 4, which gathers and stores sales information regarding sold articles in a sales information database 3, when the articles are checked out for the articles, and totals the sales information stored in the sales information database 3 to generate sales information, regarding the sales of articles at the retailer store and a shopping information providing device 6, which obtains and stores the sales information generated by the totaling device 4 in a sales information database 7, generates shopping information regarding the sales details of an object article of retrieval requested by a user through retrieval from the sales information database 7, and provides the shopping information under conditions that the user has specified. |
