FIELD: polymerization processes and catalysts. SUBSTANCE: new titanium and zirconium complexes are provided containing a sole cyclic anionic group with delocalized pi-bonds having general formula I: <EMI ID=0.318 HE=9 WI=15 TI=CHI> (I), wherein M is titanium(II) or zirconium(II); L is group containing cyclic anionic delocalized pi-system by means of which this group binds to M, being also bound to Z; Z is fragment linked with M by sigma-bond and containing silicon, nitrogen, and up to 60 atoms other than hydrogen atoms; and X is neutral conjugated or non-conjugated dien optionally substituted by one or a few alkyl, aryl, or arylalkyl groups and containing up to 40 carbon atoms, this group X forming pi-complex with M. Proposed complexes are catalysts useful in polymerization of olefins containing acetylenic bonds and exhibit improved catalytic properties preserving high catalytic activity at elevated temperatures, which allows high-molecular weight polymers to be obtained. L is advantageously tetramethylcyclopentadienyl, tetrahydroindenyl, or tetrafluorenyl group. Catalytic composition for polymerization of olefins and method for polymerization thereof are also provided. EFFECT: increased catalytic activity. |
