PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high wear resistance and stable electrophotographic characteristics for repeated use at high temperature and high humidity and to obtain a good image even for repeated use by forming a specified resin layer as a surface layer and using a support consisting of a conductive support and an anodized film subjected to sealing treatment on the surface of the support. SOLUTION: The surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a curing siloxane resin having charge transfer ability. The conductive support has an anodized film which is subjected to sealing treatment. The curing siloxane resin layer may act as a charge transfer layer, however, the resin layer is preferably formed separately from the photosensitive layers such as a charge transfer layer and a charge generating layer or a single layer type charge generating and transfer layer. Moreover, an adhesive layer is preferably formed between the photosensitive layer and the resin layer. As for the material of the conductive support, a metal material such as aluminum, copper and brass, or a plastic material molded into a belt or drum can be used, and aluminum is preferable.
