METHOD FOR USING WATER CONTACTED WITH SINTERED CERAMICS AS COOLING WATER OF AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent environmental pollution by suppressing slime (sludge or mud like matter) generated and scale fixed in a water cooling column of an air conditioner by a method not depending on chemical treatment and to realize the reduction of a running cost. SOLUTION: Cooling water is brought into contact with a molded object, which is obtained from ceramics comprising only a natural stone based on silica alumina sintered by a special technique not only to suppress and remove the generation and deposition of various slimes and scales but also to remove the malodor caused by the generation and increase of those slimes and scales.
