PURPOSE: A method for controlling heating of a boiler is provided to efficiently control depending on the using environment and the change of using time by operating a boiler depending on the present room temperature in the operation on demand. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling heating of a boiler comprises the steps of sensing the present operation state(S301); deciding if the operation is controlled by a room controller or a main controller(S302); sensing an operating time(T), a stop time(T0), a predetermined room temperature(R), a present room temperature(R0) and a predetermined pipeline water temperature(H) if the boiler is operated by the room controller(S303); deciding the operating time of the boiler using a timer(S304); operating the boiler only when the predetermined room temperature is higher than the present room temperature(S306); and stopping the boiler if the present room temperature is higher than the predetermine room temperature or the stop time approaches(S308).
