The invention concerns quinoline derivatives of general formula (I), their pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt or a stereo chemically isomeric form thereof, method for their preparation, its intermediates, pharmaceutical composition comprising them and their use as a medicine. The compounds of formula (I) have farnesyl transferase and geranylgeranyl transferase inhibiting activity.
