<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide service capable of protecting the right of contents such as copyright by defining a method for presenting contents to viewers, application conditions, the storage of contents in a ciphered state, limited reception to a terminal, limited reception to each individual, etc., on the broadcasting side, distributing the defined contents to the receiving side together with the contents and executing viewer's viewing control, storage control, copying control, cipher/ decipher control, etc., on the basis of the defined contents. SOLUTION: An integrated data distribution system attaches meta-data to be information related to contents to each contents. The name and details of contents, general information such as the constitution of the contents, control information concerned with storing/reproducing processing, control information concerned with charging processing, and information concerned with copyright protection such as information concerned with a contents ciphering method such as a contents deciphering key are described in the meta-data. Viewer's viewing control, storage control, copying control, cipher/decipher control, etc., are executed on the basis of the information of the metal-data. Consequently the right of contents, user's right, etc., can be protected.</p> |
