PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting mold used for manufacturing a light alloy wheel high in strength and suppressed in air leakage by reducing casting defects such as a shrinkage cavity generated in a rim part.SOLUTION: The casting mold includes a lower die, an upper die 13, and a horizontal die 14 disposed on the upper die 13 and the lower die. In the horizontal die 14, a plurality of sprues 19 opened in a rim part cavity 100b among the cavities of a light alloy wheel formed by the combination of the upper die 13, the lower die, and the horizontal die 14, and arranged at equal intervals in a peripheral direction in the combined state of the dies is formed. The upper die 13 has a side wall 23b including an outer peripheral surface 23c which is an inner side face of the rim part cavity 100b and an inner peripheral surface 23d disposed inside the outer peripheral surface 23c. The thickness of the side wall 23b is larger from a position farthest from the sprue 19 toward the sprue 19 in a section perpendicular to the center line of the cavity forming the light alloy wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
