The chassis (1) which runs on wheels (2) supports the hopper (3) which has side walls (4) and a floor (5). The spreader (6) is situated at the back of the hopper, and consists of rollers (7, 7') with axles (8) and plane (9) running through the discharge edge (10) of the hopper (5) and including an angle of sixty degrees with the hopper base (5). A scraper-base (11) with slats (12) conveys the compost (14) along, inside the hopper. The spreader rollers (7, 7') have a casing (15) in the shape of an equal-sided rectangle. Tines (17) in the form of cogged slats (18) are positioned on the edges (16) of these rollers (7, 7').
