This entry possibility determining device determines whether or not a vehicle can enter a three-dimensional object detected at the periphery of the vehicle. An image converting unit (30) converts an original image (70) including a road surface at the periphery of a vehicle (10), captured by a front camera (12a), into a virtual image (72) as seen from a prescribed viewpoint position. A three-dimensional object detecting unit (40) detects, from the virtual image (72), one or more three-dimensional objects having a height from the road surface. A vehicle entry possibility determining unit (50) determines whether or not the vehicle (10) can enter into interiors of the one or more detected three-dimensional objects, or into gaps between different three-dimensional objects. |
