PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the creep damage of a high-temperature member without lowering power generation output.SOLUTION: A gas turbine 1 is equipped with an intake air cooling device 15 which cools air introduced to a compressor 10; a shut-off valve 55 provided at a middle part in clearance control piping 53 for extracting cooling gas from the compressor; and a temperature sensor 60 for detecting the temperature of high-temperature members (a turbine disc 23, a rotor blade 25, a stator blade 37, a shroud 35 and the like) in the turbine. A control portion 65 closes the shut-off valve and starts the intake air cooling device, when the temperature of the high-temperature members become an upper limit threshold temperature T0 or more with which the generation of creep damage is feared.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
