PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film defect defecting device and method.SOLUTION: An optical film defect detecting device includes: a receiving unit which receives defect information of an optical film roll from at least one inspection device; a defect position determining unit which determines a defect position on a two-dimensional plane corresponding to the optical film roll on the basis of the defect information; a searching unit which searches for a region in which defects are present over the number of defects already set on the two-dimensional plane on the basis of the defect position; and a defect detecting unit which detects a periodic defect on the basis of the number of the defects included in the searched region and the interval between the defects.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
