摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a user by outputting an image of a region of an affected part and the like after fog correction processing even with display delay, when fog is generated, and on the other hand, by outputting a high picture quality image of a region of an affected part and the like without fog correction processing when fog is not generated, according to an imaging condition of the affected part.SOLUTION: In an endoscope system 5, in the case where fog is not generated in an affected part, a camera control unit 15, according to a state of a head switch 19, performs normal correction processing with respect to an image imaged by an endoscope. In the case where fog is generated in the periphery of the affected part by laser ablation and the like, a user operates the head switch 19 to ON, and performs instruction with respect to the camera control unit 15 so as to switch to perform fog correction processing with respect to the image imaged by the endoscope 10. In the case where fog correction processing is performed, compared to normal correction processing, display delay of equal to or more than one frame occurs to the image of the affected part displayed on a monitor 16, however, a situation where the affected part becomes invisible due to the fog can be avoided, and the user can continue surgery without interruption.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
