The rotor has an outer face with drive chambers (40) set into the unit, forming part of a two directional magnetic yolk. The outer face has an inner rim (36A) on the inner surface of the outer section. The outer section fits over an inner yolk section, and the inner rim mates with a protruding section (36B) of the main body of the generator. The inner yolk section is held in place by collars (21,22) which slot into slots in the magnetic yolk side.
