<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a flow passage from being blocked, by forming two openings in the bottom wall of a valve housing, by providing a raised part on the bottom wall in the vicinity of the openings, and as well by providing a resilient member in the valve housing so that the resilient member covers over the raised part. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular shim 18 is arranged on the bottom wall 12 of a valve housing provided therein with openings 14, 16 which are spaced from each other, so that a raised part is formed. A resilient member 24 having a knob part 26 on the upper section thereof is disposed in the valve housing to cover over the raised part so that a flow passage C is formed. With this arrangement, even if the flow passage C is blocked during fluid continuously flowing through the flow passage C at a low flow rate, the blockage of the passage C may be removed by pulling the knob part 26 upward to enlarge the flow passage C so that stream at a high flow rate may be obtained, thereby the blockage of the flow passage C may be prevented.</p> |
