PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a folder is provided to soften a shock applied to the folder and a terminal body when rotating and opening/closing the folder, so as to protect the terminal body and the folder from the shock. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal includes a terminal body(50) and a folder(100) coupled to the terminal body(50). Buffering members are formed in areas contacting with the terminal body(50) when the folder(100) is rotated and opened/closed. A front case(51) and a rear case(52) are coupled to form an external view of the terminal body(50), and a circuit board is installed within the terminal body(50). A plurality of operation buttons(53) connected to the circuit board and for selecting operations of the terminal are projected on a surface of the front case(51). In the buffering members, the first buffering member(71) is formed in a center of an upper edge of a body front part(60) contacting with a center of a lower edge of a folder rear part. Second buffering members(81) are respectively formed in both sides of an upper surface of the body(50) contacting with both sides of a lower edge of the folder rear part. And the third buffering member(91) is formed in a lower part of the body front part(60) contacting with a lower part of a folder front part.
