PURPOSE:To obtain the titled suspension with high whiteness, low foamability, outstanding dispersion stability, etc., suitable for use in pressure-sensitive copying paper, by dispersing in water a salicylic acid resin polyvalent metallized product using as the dispersant, a combination of each specific oligostyrenesulfonic acid derivative salt and benzenesulfonic acid derivative salt. CONSTITUTION:The objective suspension can be obtained by dispersing in water, 100pts.wt. of a salicylic acid resin polyvalent metallized product such as a polyvalent metallized product of co-condensation resin prepared from salicylic acid, polyalkylbenzene and alpha,alpha'-dialkoxy-p-xylene in the presence of a total of >=0.6pt.wt. of (A) 0.4-100pts.wt. of a salt of oligostyrenesulfonic acid derivative of formula I R is H or 1-5C alkyl; M is Na<+>, Li<+>, etc.; n is 5-10,000; m is 1-10,000, an integer smaller than n) and (B) 0.2-10pts.wt. of a salt of benzenesulfonic acid derivative of formula II (R is 4-20C alkyl, etc.). |
