摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a fuel cell compact in the stacking direction of a power generating cell by thinning a separator. SOLUTION: The separator 12 formed in a plate shape with a conductive material is interposed between a fuel electrode layer 11b of the (i)th power generating cell 11 and an oxidizing electrode layer 11c of the (i+1)th power generating cell, adjacent to the fuel electrode layer 11b one by one and n pieces in total. The separator has a fuel thin plate 21 for separator in which a fuel exhaust hole 18b for separator is installed, an oxidizing agent thin plate 22 for separator in which an oxidizing agent exhaust hole 19b for separator is installed, and a grooved thin plate 23 for separator interposed between the fuel thin plate for separator and the oxidizing agent thin plate for separator. A fuel groove 23c for separator acting as a fuel passage 18 for separator and an oxidizing agent groove 23d for separator acting as an oxidizing agent passage 19 for separator are installed in the grooved thin plate 23 for separator.
