A prefabricated bandage is self-adhesively coated on one side and limits flexure of the finger and wrist joints. At the head (12) of a long strip (1), a short strapping band (31, 32) is attached. This makes an angle of 30-150 deg with the strip, and is applied against the respective finger. Preferred materials for the bandage comprise a fleece, paper, foam, fabric or a knit.
