A pipe coupling for connecting a side pipe to a main pipe (1) comprising a connection portion (3) for sealing connection to at least one opening (2) in the main pipe (1) and a coupling element (4) for keeping the connection portion (3) in relationship to the main pipe (1) is described. The coupling element (4) comprises a hoop, embracing the connection portion (3) an the hoop is designed with two sides (10.11), intended to extend transversely to and above the main pipe (1). The extending portions are provided with holes (13, 14), wherein a transverse securing element (15) can be brought, by turning, to keep the hoop (4) with the connection portion (3) safely sealing against the opening (2) of the main pipe (1). According to the invention the pipe coupling is primarily characterised in that the hole (13, 14), is designed such, that the securing element (15) substantially consisting of a plane rod, is turnable from a free first position to a second closed position, in which it presses against the main pipe (1). |
