FIELD: laying seals between two movable parts, between two gates of valve or between gate of valve and stop of smoke gas fittings, in particular. SUBSTANCE: flexible sealing member is made in form of strip from spring steel having two flat hold-down edges which are parallel and are located near each other; they are directed in one side and are secured on one part plant on one side by means of clamping joint. Sealing member has arc-shaped bent sealing zone and bearing surface located on the outside of hold-down edges flatly faying to flat bearing surface of load-bearing member which may be fastened with one part of plant by means of clamping joint. Other part of plant is in contact with sealing member at top area of arc-shaped bent sealing zone. relative motion of both parts of plant is mainly effected tangentially to this top area. Load-bearing member is located inside cavity bounded by bent sealing member. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 7 cl, 4 dwg
