PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector which is capable of clearly recording an display image and preventing unauthorized use even when the recorded image data is provided, and also provided a method for controlling the same. SOLUTION: The projector 1 compresses and codes input video signals SR, SG, SB with a video encoder 16, and thus generating the video coded data DV. The projector 1 also compresses and codes audio signals SA, which are input through a microphone 18, through an audio encoder 17, and thus generating the audio coded data DA. These video coded data DV and audio coded data DA are multiplexed by a multiplexing part 19 so as to generate the multiplexed data DVA, which are to be recorded in HDD 21. This projector 1 also wirelessly transmits the multiplexed data VDA recorded in HDD 21 through a radio communication part 22. |
