PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition in which high temperature stability of an oil-in-water emulsion composition thickened with hydrophobically modified polyether urethane is improved, and moreover jelly-like unique touch is maintained.SOLUTION: The invention provides an elastic gel composition characterized by containing hydrophobically modified polyether urethane into an oil-in-water emulsion with an oil droplet whose average particle diameter is 150 nm or less. The elastic gel composition is transparent or translucent, has a jelly-like elastic touch, is excellent in viscosity stability at high temperature, and is suitable for a cosmetic base. As the hydrophobically modified polyether urethane, a copolymer (PEG-240/decyltetradeceth-20/HDI) is particularly preferable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
