PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper part structure of a vehicle body improving NV (noise vibration) performance by reducing a rigidity value of the peripheral part of a front roof rail to adjust a resonance frequency while securing the support rigidity of roof panel, windshield or the like.SOLUTION: An upper part structure of a vehicle body comprises a roof panel 2 provided on a vehicle body upper part 1d, and a front roof rail 11 provided below the roof panel 2 and extending in a vehicle width direction. The structure is composed so that the distance between the roof front end 21 of the roof panel 2 and a rail front end 111 of the front roof rail 11 in a cross direction extends as proceeding to a vehicle width central side. Besides, the front roof rail 11 comprises a joint part 112 joined to the roof front end 21 on an outer end part of the rail front end 111 in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
