PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which prevents failure regardless of a power-on sequence of a power source.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: a first power wire which receives power supply in an active mode; a second power wire which receives power supply in the active mode and in a standby mode; a memory circuit connected to the first and second power wires; and a first switch which electrically connects the first power wire and the second power wire in the active mode and comes into and out of contact in the standby mode. The memory circuit includes: a memory array connected with the second power wire; a peripheral circuit connected with the first power wire; and a second switch which electrically connects the fist power wire and the second power wire in the active mode and comes into and out of contact in the standby mode. Each of the first and second switches has: a first PMOS transistor in which a source and an N-type well are connected to the first power wire; and a second PMOS transistor in which a source and an N-type well are connected to the second power wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
