PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a new function while retaining an existing function without making alteration to the existing equipment.SOLUTION: A radio communication device 3 comprises: a short range radio communication unit 31 for performing short range communication; a public network communication module 32 for performing data communication through a public network WAN; a radio control unit 33 for establishing a first radio link for data communication with a navigation system 1 by receiving a connection request from the navigation system 1 to equipment recognized as a mobile phone, which is equipment to be connected to the public network, by the short range radio communication unit 31, and for establishing a second radio link for voice communication with a mobile phone 2 by receiving a connection request from the mobile phone 2 to the navigation system; a data communication unit 34 for connecting the navigation system 1 to the public network WAN through the first radio link, using the public network communication module 32; and a hands-free voice communication unit 35 for performing voice communication by the mobile phone 2 through the second radio link. |
