PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generating system to generate electric power at low cost, and to provide a fuel cell power generating method. SOLUTION: An phosphoric acid fuel cell power generating system 1 comprises a phosphoric acid fuel cell 2 having a fuel electrode 5 and an air electrode 6, a reduction gas supply system 3 supplying reduction gas to the fuel electrode 5 of the phosphoric acid fuel cell 2, an oxidation gas supply system 4 supplying oxidation gas to the air electrode 6 of the phosphoric acid fuel cell 2. The reduction gas supply system 3 comprises a waste alcohol tank 9 storing waste alcohol, an evaporator 10 evaporating the waste alcohol supplied from the waste alcohol tank 9, and a reforming device 11 generating reduction gas from the waste alcohol evaporated by the evaporator 10. |
