A one-part container made of composite packaging material is described for a pasty, especially liquid material, said container being folded from a web of material and having base, cover and side wall. In order to be able to keep the weight of this package as low as possible with good dimensional stability, the side wall is provided with embossed, stiffening beads extending perpendicularly to the base. The stiffening beads can be produced as part of the manufacturing process of the container by cyclic or continuous hot embossing or pulse heating with subsequent cooling of the embossed point or by the use of ultrasound from an embossing plate designed as an ultrasonic sonotrode. |
