<p>PURPOSE:To improve yield by preventing the generation of the dovetailed projecting part of the front and rear end parts by providing a controller for crop shear in a rolling equipment which is composed of rough and finish rolling parts. CONSTITUTION:In the rolling equipment which the rough and finish rolling parts A and B are arranged from the upstream side towards the downstream side in the advancing direction of rolled stock, a crop shear is provided between both the rolling parts A, B. And, the controller 10 for crop shear containing the monitoring device 5 for planar shape of rolled stock, arithmetic command device 6 for cut length of crop and driving command device 14 for crop shear is mounted in the rough rolling part A. In this way, the dovetailed projecting part isn't generated in the case finish rolling is executed in the finish rolling part B and the yield and quality of product can be improved.</p> |
