PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems on a double row tapered roller bearing during carriage that an assembly of an inner ring, a tapered roller and a holder, when moved in the direction of the axial center, has a moving distance, if long, to cause a lip portion of a sealing member to be removed from a ring body and the assembly, when returned to an original position, reverses its direction of contacting the ring body of the lip portion to produce early deterioration of the double row tapered roller bearing. SOLUTION: If the assembly of the inner ring 6, the tapered roller 10 and the holder 8 is subjected to force in the direction of the axial center 3 during carrying a product and slightly moved to the direction of the axial center 3 to cause a change in width A of a gap 20, the width A of the gap 20 which is set smaller than a distance B from the lip portion 18 to the end of a second ring body 19 prevents the lip portion 18 from being removed from the second ring body 19, the lip portion 18 from reversing its direction of contacting the second ring body 19, and the double row tapered roller bearing from generating unusual noises or overheat during usage and from lowering its sealing function. |
