PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ferrite magnet powder which is improved in magnetic properties and manufactured at a low manufacturing cost, a ferrite magnet, and its applied products, and to provide their manufacturing methods. SOLUTION: A ferrite magnet has a hexagonal M-type magnetoplumbite structure, in which Sr, Ba, Pb, or Ca is partially substituted with at least an element selected from among of rare earth elements containing Y and Bi, and Fe is also partially substituted with Cu or Cu and Co. Cu or Cu and Co as substituting elements are wholly or partially added to the ferrite of hexagonal M-type magnetoplumbite structure, in which Sr, Ba, Pb, or Ca has been partially substituted with other elements, and the ferrite loaded with the substituting elements is calcined and/or sintered again. Cu or the like is added to the ferrite, having already, a hexagonal M-type plumbite structure, so that the ferrite can be improved in magnetic properties by the addition of a small amount of loading. |
