<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the system and method for generating and operating a group of graphic objects by using encirclement. SOLUTION: A user generates the closed curve around >=1 graphic objects (401). Then the user generates a gesture relating to the closed curve (402). The system checks graphic objects nearby the gesture (403). Then the system checks whether one of them is the closed curve (404). When a graphic object is not the closed curve, the gesture is interpreted as an unencircled operation (408). When the object is the closed curve, the gesture type is discriminated (405). It is determined whether or not the gesture operation is effective to encirclement (406). When not, the gesture is interpreted as an unencircled operation (408). When the gesture operation is effective, the closed curve is handled as the encirclement and a corresponding encircled opreation is performed (407).</p> |
