Asynchronous multi-coordinate drive

The multi-coordinate drive has a primary part with inductors provided by laminated magnetic yokes provided with AC windings and a secondary part (1), with a movement surface for the primary part and an electrically and magnetically conductive element parallel to this surface. The inductors (6,7) are arranged in inductor groups with different operative directions, their windings connected in series or parallel, with a respective control circuit (22,23) for each inductor group, supplying the windings in dependence on received setting signals.
