VERTICAL/HORIZONTAL INDICATOR USING LASER BEAM FOR USE IN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

PURPOSE: A vertical/horizontal indicator is provided to achieve use convenience and work efficiency by using a laser beam radiation method, vertical point indicating function and horizontal point indicating function at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A vertical/horizontal indicator comprises a drive motor(14); a prism(13) mounted to a rotating member(12); a battery accommodation member(15) serving as a power supply; a laser beam generating unit(2) arranged above a base disk(1) having a laser beam guide hole(11); and a weight(3) accommodating the base disk and the laser beam generating unit. The base disk has an infrared sensor(16) mounted onto the base disk, and the laser beam generating unit has a reel(23) mounted onto the laser beam generating unit. The reel is controlled by a drive motor(22), and connected to a length adjustment line(24). The weight has a vertical point hole(31) for radiating laser beam in a vertical direction, and a length adjustment hole(33) for connecting the length adjustment line and a transparent window(32) for radiation of laser beam in a horizontal direction.
