PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle holder which can hold various portable telephone sets of different sizes. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle holder 1 consists of a locking block 3 which holds one of both end parts of a portable telephone set 100 on a holder main body 2 having a recess part 2A, an unlocking means 4, a lift-up means 5, a slide block 6 having a clamp pawl 6c which fits in a clamp recess part 101c of the telephone set 100, a clamp block 7 which energizes the part 101c to press it to the pawl 6c and holds the other end part of the telephone set 100 and a can mechanism 8 which secures the linkage between the blocks 7 and 6.
