<p>Compositions and methods for stabilizing modified tissue, particularly against post-modification regression, are provided. More particularly, pre-treatment and post-treatment compositions are applied to tissue that is subjected to a modification procedure. The compositions condition the tissue to resist regression toward its original, pre-modification state. The invention is applicable to collagenous tissue throughout the body, and particularly applicable to corneal tissue that is subjected to a refractive-correction procedure, such as laser thermal keratoplasty.</p> |
