PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display medium which has improved density contrast, an improved angle of view or the like in a display image. SOLUTION: The image display medium consists of at least a display substrate, a counter substrate arranged oppositely to the display substrate, and an enclosed material to be enclosed in the gap between the display substrate and the counter substrate. The enclosed material has a concealing property and consists of at least two kinds of insulative particles whose charge polarity and color is different each other. The absolute value of electrostatic charge amount of at least one kind of insulative particle among at least two kinds of insulative particles is 0.0001-0.1 C/kg per unit weight.
